A Winter Hello

Today I have an all-occasion winter card that can be for Christmas, birthday, thank you, or a card just to say hi.

To make my card, I used the Snowman Etched Dies from Spellbinders. 

Snowman Etched Dies

The small snowman, scarf and hat band were die cut three times from white glitter cardstock from Printworks Specialty paper. The scarves and hat bands were sponged with different colors of Distress Inks.

Since this glitter paper is smooth, it can be stamped on and run through your printer. The faces were stamped using Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and the nose was colored using an orange alcohol marker, I used the ones from Spectrum Noir. 

The hats were die cut from black glitter paper.

Snow Glad We're Friends Card

Today is new release day over at Spellbinders and part of the release is this, Stampendous FransFormer Snowy Friends Clear Stamp Set

* I colored the snowmen with Prismas Colored Pencils and added Crystal Stickles to the fur on the hats.

* The postage die from the Stampendous Fran's Frames Etched Dies was used to layer the sentiment and it was popped up.

* The snow on the ground was embossed using some chunky white and gold embossing powder. It was heated from underneath so the embossing powder wouldn't blow away.

Holiday Hugs Collection- 5 Cards

There's a new line of Stampendous stamps and dies called the "Holiday Hugs Collection by Stampendous".  This line is just so cute, with all of the characters that you can make such as Santa's, snowmen, gnomes and reindeer.

Kitty Belated Birthday Card

For my kitty loving friends, how cute are these dies from the new Stampendous Hugs Collection!!!!  I used the Stampendous Kitty Hugs Etched Dies, Stampendous Kitty Hugs Faces and Sentiments Clear Stamp Set and Stampendous Fran's Frames Etched Dies to make this cute kitty card.

The cat was die-cut from gray cardstock, then the edges were sponged with gray ink as was the mouse.

Birthday Bear Card

Today is release day for the new Stampendous Hugs Collection, stamps and dies and they are adorable! For my card, I used the

Hugs Accessories Etched Dies

I used the sweet little baby bear and to make the onesie, I die-cut decorative paper using the baby die and just cut the arms, legs and head off, sorry if that sounds a little brutal hahaha.

The bear is die-cut from kraft colored cardstock and the are sponged with dark brown ink.

Small Miracles Hummingbird Card

Happy Friday! Today I have a card made with the really pretty Stampendous Hummingbird Day Stamp Set from Spellbinders. The set is filled with everything you need to make cute cards.

To make my card, I stamped the images on watercolor paepr and colored them with watercolor pencils.  The images were then cut out.

The white cardstock background was made using the Beveled Diamond 3D Embossing Folder also from Spellbinders. It was mounted to a pink card using the E-Z Runner Grand from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. The 3D Embossing Folder, gives wonderful dimension and doesn't cut your paper.

Once everything was placed on the card with the flowers and hummingbird popped up, green enamel dots were placed in the center of the diamond shapes of the embossed background.

Happy Birthday Quick Cards

Here's a quick card today, made with the Stampendous Hope of Spring Quick Card Backgrounds from Spellbinders, that looks like a lot of time was spent making it. This is a beautiful pack of image papers, all you have to do is cut it up or die-cut it, layer it and you have a beautiful card in minutes.

I used the Stampendous Deckle Die Set to die-cut two corners so the blue paper can peek through.

Springtime Card

Spring is one week away and I'm ready with this little bird singing under watercolored flowers.

I used the new Sweet Song Clear Stamp Set from Stampendous Spring Collection. 

The flowers were stamped on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink, embossed with clear embossing powder and colored using watercolor pencils.

The bird was stamped on a seperate piece of watercolor paper, the same as the flowers, cut out and popped up on the card. The ground markings were stamped below the bird with brown ink.

The Stampendous Deckle Die Set was used to die-cut the layers and also the ovals that the sentiment was stamped on.

The stamped panel was popped up on a slightly larger blue using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, the blue panel had a strip of black and white decorative paper glued to the left side. This was mounted to a die-cut deckle edge white cardstock panel and mounted to a blue card.

Happy Day Watercolor Card

Today I have a card made with products from the Stampendous / Spellbinders new release. I used the Hello Butterfly Clear Stamp Set.  

The flowers were stamped on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and watercolored with watercolor pencils.

Once dry it was die-cut using the oval die from the Stampendous Frames and Borders Die Set, then layered onto a larger black oval from the same set.

This was then popped up on a pink panel that was embossed with the Plaid Company Embossing Folder after one side of the folder was rubbed with white pigment ink and glued to a pink card.

The butterfly was also stamped on watercolor paper, colored with watercolor pencils, cut out and popped up on the top edge of the oval.

The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock with black ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

Thinking of You Quick Card

Have you ever needed a card but didn't have enough time to make one? Well, Stampendous has some beautiful new papers that you need in your collection, the line is called Quick Cards.

For my card I used the Hope Of Spring Quick Card Backgrounds and the Joy of Spring Backgrounds.

To make my card, I cut out the bird with the sentiment and inked just the sentiment with green ink.  I then die-cut the bottom using a die from the Stampendous Frames and Borders Die Set.

This panel was then layered onto green cardstock.  Paper from the Joy of Spring pack was used in the background.  Leaves were die-cut from white cardstock using the Autumn Leaves Etched Dies, they were then sponged with green ink and glued underneath the bird panel.

Skatboarding Elephant Card

I thought I would try a boy themed card using the cute Stampendous FransFormer Furry Urban Jungle Stamps from Spellbinders.  

 The elephant was colored using watercolor pencils and the oval background was inked with the grass being stamped with the dots from the Stampendous FransFormer Geo Shapes Stamps.  

 The orange background is decorative paper that was also stamped with the dots using orange ink.

 I got the wave look by using the Frames and Borders Die and die-cutting the paper.

The FransFormer Furry Friends Stamps are super cute and you can pick which animal you and to use with the close.

Hello Friend Bunny Card

Here's a card made with the Stampendous, FransFormer Furry Friends Stamp set from Spellbinders. 
 This is a realy cute set, you can pick what animal and face you want to use with the cloths.  I chose the bunny to go against a background made using the leaf stamp in the set.

To make the background, I used blender brushes to apply Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress inks on watercolor paper.  I then went over the inks with a slightly wet brush.  Once dry the leaves were stamped using VersaMark Ink and embossed with Stampendous White Embossing Powder.

Birthday Card Time

It's birthday card making time, I have so many birthdays coming up! Stampendous has this new  FransFormer Birthday Clear Stamp set that I used to make a clean and simple card that's pretty but not time consuming to make.

I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black VersaMark Ink and used watercolor pencils.

For the deckle edge panel, it was die-cut using the Stampendous Deckle Die Set and it's poped up using 3D Foam Circles from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. The pretty cardstock is from PrintWorks Specialty Paper, they have quite a few paper packs to choose from.
