Skatboarding Elephant Card

I thought I would try a boy themed card using the cute Stampendous FransFormer Furry Urban Jungle Stamps from Spellbinders.  

 The elephant was colored using watercolor pencils and the oval background was inked with the grass being stamped with the dots from the Stampendous FransFormer Geo Shapes Stamps.  

 The orange background is decorative paper that was also stamped with the dots using orange ink.

 I got the wave look by using the Frames and Borders Die and die-cutting the paper.

The FransFormer Furry Friends Stamps are super cute and you can pick which animal you and to use with the close.

Hello Friend Bunny Card

Here's a card made with the Stampendous, FransFormer Furry Friends Stamp set from Spellbinders. 
 This is a realy cute set, you can pick what animal and face you want to use with the cloths.  I chose the bunny to go against a background made using the leaf stamp in the set.

FransFormer Fury Friends Stamp Set

To make the background, I used blender brushes to apply Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress inks on watercolor paper.  I then went over the inks with a slightly wet brush.  Once dry the leaves were stamped using VersaMark Ink and embossed with Stampendous White Embossing Powder.

The cardstock and gold glitter paper that was used is from PrintWorks Specialty Paper that's available on Amazon, you can see it HERE.

Birthday Card Time

It's birthday card making time, I have so many birthdays coming up! Stampendous has this new  FransFormer Birthday Clear Stamp set that I used to make a clean and simple card that's pretty but not time consuming to make.

I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black VersaMark Ink and used watercolor pencils.

For the deckle edge panel, it was die-cut using the Stampendous Deckle Die Set and it's poped up using 3D Foam Circles from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. The pretty cardstock is from PrintWorks Specialty Paper, they have quite a few paper packs to choose from.

Fabulous Friends Slimline Card

Have you heard the news? Stampendous products are now available at Spellbinders Paper Arts AND Stampendous has a new release with some really cute animal sets.

For my slimline card, I used the Stampendous FransFormer Feathers Clear Stamps by stamping the flamingo on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The flamingo was then colored with watercolor pencils.
The sentiment from the set was stamped with VeraMark Ink on black cardstock and embossed with White Embossing Powder.
The panel was then layered on pink cardstock that was die-cut with the  Stampendous Frames and Borders Die Set then mounted onto a white card.

Watercolor Fish Friendship Card

 

Today's card uses the new release Under the Sea Set #2 from Rubbernecker Stamps to make this fun summer card.  Be sure to read on to see how the waves were made!

Here's how my card was made-

• Die-cut blue cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" with the Waves Die Cut about 1/3 from the top.
• Use the top portion that was cut off like a stencil and leaving the top of the wave panel un-inked, start applying blue inks from the Color Fuse Inks #8 Set starting with the lightest color and move the "stencil" down each time you go darker.

• Glue the waves to a white cardstock panel 4" x 5 1/4" using the Dual Tip Glue Pen from Home and Hobby by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
• Stamp the sentiment from the Under the Sea #2 with Onyx Black Ink and emboss with clear embossing powder from Stampendous.

• Glue this to a light blue card using the same adhesive.
• Stamp the fish from the Under the Sea #2 Set with black ink on watercolor paper and emboss with clear embossing powder. 
• Watercolor the fish and cut them out.
• Pop up the fish with 3D Foam Adhesive Squares as shown.
• Glue on blue and clear Dew Drops for the bubbles above the fish.
• Add a seashell sequin near the sentiment.
