New Baby

Stampendous has the cutest baby set, it's called Rubber Duckies Perfectly Clear Set and it's full of adorable stamps and sentiments!
I thought this would make a great shaker card and for the shaker bits, Royal Blue Glitter Glass and Powder Blue Frantage Color Fragments were used.  To make sure they didn't stick to the acetate, a dryer sheet was rubbed over the acetate to remove any static and it worked perfectly!
The little ducky was stamped, embossed and colored with Zig Clean Color Pens.
The waves were stamped on the bottom of the white panel with VersaMark ink, embossed with White Embossing Powder and sponged with blue inks.
To pop up the top panel, Fun Foam was used but you can also use foam tape but you need to make sure all of the pieces and snug against each other to ensure the shaker pieces don't fall out.

Be sure to head on over to the Stampendous Blog to see what other baby cards the Design Team members have for you today!  The link is below.

Pastel Snowman

Welcome to my monthly post for the Season's Greetings Challenge Blog!  For Challenge #5 the Christmas themes are the color combo shown below or as always anything goes.

To make my card I chose the color combo, I don't use Stampin' Up inks or paper so I used colors close to them.  Build A Snowman Perfectly Clear Set from Stampendous  was used and colored with my new Inktense Pencils, that I used for the first time.  The snowflakes were embossed with Periwinkle Embossing Powder also from Stampendous and Caribbean Ocean Nuvo Crystal Drops were used to add dots around the snowman.  I hope this gives you some inspiration, you play along with us and you get a jump start on your Chirstmas cards!

Word Of Comfort

We had a sketch challenge in my stamp club for our card exchange and I made this sympathy card using the Cling Lilac Rubber Stamp Set and matching Lilac Die Set, with a sentiment from the Bible Promises Perfectly Clear Set from Stampendous.  Luckily no one in my club is in need of a sympathy card but they are always good to have on hand.  You can see other samples of these sets on the Stampendous website by clicking the names of the stamps above.
The butterfly was stamped on Strathmore Bristol paper and  is colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.  The Strathmore Bristol is my favorite paper to use with my Zigs, the pens blend beautifully on it!
The lilac was stamped and embossed with white then sponged with Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet inks.

Succulent Pitcher

We now have green grass and the trees are flowering, I love seeing everything bloom again!  So this week the Stampendous Design Team is sharing flowers and plants that are in a container to celebrate Spring.  My card is using the Succulent Pitcher and when I lived in California these were everywhere and grew no matter how much you neglected them.  I'm now in Oklahoma and succulents don't like to grow here, I've tried twice and I'm sad to say they didn't survive.

Here is how my card was made;

1.  Stamp Succulent Pitcher and Hello (from the Happy Birds Set) on white paper and color with colored pencils. Cut out and set aside.
2.  Place Southwest Background Stencil on a white panel and spray with orange and pink sprays.
3.  Use the Fitted Frames A Set to diecut a frame.  Glue frame to a green card.
4.  Glue on Hello and the Succulent Pitcher as shown.
5.  Add Black Dot Sparklers to the inside of the frame.
