The Magic of the Season

Today I'm up on the Rubbernecker Blog sharing a Christmas card, because if you haven't started making them, now is the time!  This is one you can mass produce pretty quickly, there is coloring involved but not much.

1.  The Santa with Present was stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink on white cardstock, heat set and colored with Prisma pencils.
2.  The Nested Oval Stitch Die Set was used to cut the oval.  Set aside. (A matching Santa with Present Die is also available.)
3.  Decorative Christmas paper was layered onto larger white cardstock and glued to a red card.  The Santa with Present was popped up on the right side of the card with 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
4.  Magic of the Season was stamped on a strip of red cardstock with VersaMark ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder. It was then glued to the upper left side of the card.
5.  Three rhinestones were adhered to the left side of the card and you're done!

Boo-Frickity-Hoo

I'm up on the Rubbernecker Blog today with my Boo-Fickity-Hoo Halloween card.  The Pumpkin Man has a matching die available that also gives you the moon.  I always pick up a matching die for a stamp, it makes cutting it out so quick and easy.  Just click on the names in bold print and it will take you to the product.

Here's how my card was made;

1.  Stamp Pumpkin Man on white cardstock with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
2.  Using the matching Pumpkin Man Die, cut out.
3.  Color the mouths, eyes and moon with yellow and orange Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marks.
4.  Sponge the edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink.
5.  Make a watercolor background by rubbing Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks on your craft mat, spritz with water and lay a watercolor paper panel on top.  Remove and let dry.
6.  Die Cut a panel from the watercolor piece using the Nested Rectangle Stitch Die Set and die cut the same size from black and white striped decorative paper.  Die cut one size larger from black paper.
7.  Glue the watercolor piece to the larger black frame with Zip Dry Glue, then onto the decorative paper piece as shown. Then glue on stamped images.
8.  Repeatedly stamp Boo-Frickity-Hoo on an orange pane with Abandoned Coral ink and glue to a black card.
9.  Glue stamped layers onto the card.  Set aside.
10.  Stamp sentiment on a strip of black cardstock with VersaMark Ink and emboss with white embossing powder.  Glue to card as shown.

Today kicks off Stampendous' 31 Days of Halloween and I'm sharing a treat jar made using the Halloween Labels Cling Stamps and Die Set.
The witch was stamped on computer paper with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.  It was then sponged with purple and green inks.  After it was diecut, it was adhered to the jar using a tape runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
The sentiments were stamped and embossed on orange and purple papers, cut into a tag shape and tied to the jar.  The jar is filled with brown and orange peanut M&M's.
