Valentine's Hearts

I know it's still November but your Christmas cards should already be done, so why let those hands be idle?  Get started on Valentine's Day cards, Anniversary cards or Wedding cards!  This week I'm sharing two cards made with the Wings Die Set from Stampendous and you'll be surprised both cards were made using the same die set.  I really love this delicate heart die, it's so pretty and elegant.

Here's how my card was made;

1.  Die cut hearts from the Wings Die Set from kraft and pink glitter paper and glue to a white panel that has been splattered with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

2.  Run a strip of kraft colored cardstock through a paper crimper and glue to the white panel below the hearts.
3.  Stamp the sentiment from the Greetings Galore Perfectly Clear Set with Sepia VersaFine Ink on a white strip of paper.

4.  Glue sentiment to the kraft strip of cardstock and add a pink glitter heart.
5.  Layer the white panel onto a kraft panel and glue to a pink card.

The sentiment, Magic of the Season was stamped with Sepia VersaFine Ink and embossed with clear.

The Very Best!

Hi my crafty friends, it's time to use up that decorative paper you've been hoarding!  I know there must be other people out there like me who will go out, buy pretty pattern paper then not use it in fear of running out. Well I'm on a tangent to use my old pattern paper so I can buy more haha.  So to help me with this, I'm using the Square Combo#1 OPC Die from Rubbernecker Stamps.  Have you seen it? It's brilliant and diecuts six frames at once!  So by diecuting two coordinating papers, you can make two cards like the one above.  Or you can use the frames individually for multiple cards.  With this technique you can even turn ugly paper into a pretty card. Once you've glued the frames to a card, slap on a sentiment and you're done!  I used a sentiment from the Best Friends Etc set.  Believe me, this is addicting!

Honey Doo Crafts has some beautiful stamps and matching dies that make creating pretty cards so easy.  For this card, I used the Spring Flowers set with the Spring Flowers Dies set.  It's colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on watercolor paper and layer on a panel stenciled with the Brick Wall Stencil and brown ink.  The sentiment is from the Hopeful and Happy Quotes which is stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Watercolored Flowers

Today I have a card made with  Honey Doo Crafts stamps, I've used Spring Flowers, Spring Flowers Die and Hopeful and Happy Quotes.

The Spring Flowers were stamped and embossed on watercolor paper, colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut.  The sentiment was stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  A strip of decorative paper was glued to the bottom of a white card, the flowers and leaves were glued and popped up over the seam. It's as simple at that!

Quick and Easy Christmas Card

I shared this card back in July for Christmas in July but thought I would post it again since it is super quick and easy for those of you who haven't started on your Christmas cards yet.  It uses the cute Snowman With Arms from Rubbernecker Stamps.  He's colored with Prisma Colored Pencils and can be cut out with the matching Snowman With Arms Die.  The decorative paper is by The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby and the snow behind the snowman is Shabby White Embossing Powder from Stampendous.  The circle cut out was made with the Nested Circle Stitched Die Set.
So if you haven't already, get started on those Christmas cards!
Have a creative day.

Butterfly Shaker Card

This week I'm up on the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog with this butterfly shaker card. I used the 2 Part Butterfly #3 Die to diecut the butterflies from black paper. The shaker portion was made and layered against decorative paper.  The words are from the Butterflies Are Free clear set, it's one sentiment that I stamped and cut apart.
