Winter Coffee

Just because Christmas is over, don't put away those snowflakes, they can be used all winter long!  I used them on the purple frame and die-cut them out of glitter paper.  Here's how my card was made;
  1. Die-cut a purple frame using the Deckle Frame Die.
  2. Stamp the frame with the Snow Flake Frame stamp and white pigment ink.  Pop this up on a white card using foam squares and set aside.
  3. Die-cut a white and purple cardstock with the Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die Set and glue together so that they are offset. Glue this in the center of the frame on the white card.
  4. Stamp the girl from the Coffee Lovers Set with black ink on white cardstock, color with colored pencils, and die-cut with the Coffee Lovers Die set.
  5. Die-cut white cardstock using the Nested Tag Stitch die set and apply Sky Color Fuse Ink to the enter of the die.
  6. Use the Nested Oval Small Stitch Die Cut Set to cut grey patterned paper.
  7. Glue the oval to the bottom of the tag, pop up the girl with foam squares, and randomly ally sequines to the tag.
  8. Glue the tag to the center of the frame diagonally and glue on green ribbon that has been tied into a knot.
  9. Die-cut several snowflakes from white glitter paper and glue two flat to the bottom left corner and pop one up using a foam square.
  10. Stamp the sentiment from the set onto white cardstock with black ink and die-cut with the Nested Oval Small Stitch Die.
  11. Glue two snowflakes to the back of the sentiment and pop up the right corner.

Birthday Calories Don't Count!

The beginning of the new year is always a good time to get a bunch of birthday cards made to have on hand for the year.  I used the new super cute POP Cupcake Perfectly Clear Stamp Set and the POP Shapes Die Set from Stampendous.  This one die set works with their new line of POP Stamps, it's so nice to not have to buy a die set for each of the stamp sets!
Here's how my card was made-
  1. Stamp the cupcake and candle from the POP Cupcake Perfectly Clear Set, with black ink and color with watercolor pencils.
  2. Die-cut the images using the POP Shapes Die Set and set them aside.
  3. Stamp the sentiment from the same set on lavender decorative paper with black ink and die-cut with a banner die.  Set aside.
  4. Layer a strip of green and white striped decorative paper onto slightly larger black and yellow cardstock then glue to a lavender card.
  5. Glue the bottom of the cupcake flat on the card and pop up the frosting and candle with foam squares.
  6. Glue the banner to the top left of the card.
  7. Randomly apply rhinestones to the frosting and a few to the card.

All Occasion Card

Today's card uses the new POP Bouquet Perfectly Clear Stamps Set and the coordinating POP Shapes Die Set from Stampendous.  I decided not to put the sentiment on the front, instead wait until I need a card and choose from one of the three sentiments in the set.
Here's how my card was made-
  1. Stamp images from the POP Bouquet Perfectly Clear Set onto watercolor paper with black ink.
  2. Watercolor using Inktense Pencils.
  3. Die-cut images using the POP Shapes Die Set and set aside.
  4. Using rectangle dies, die-cut a frame from black cardstock and die-cut a white panel to fit inside of the frame.
  5. Pop up the black frame on slightly larger yellow cardstock and glue the white panel inside of the frame.
  6. Glue a strip of decorative paper to the left side of a blue card glue on the black layered frame.
  7. Blue the vase and ladybug to the flat to the inside of the frame.
  8. Pop up the flowers on the vase using foam squares.
  9. Glue the bee flat above the flowers and glue the butterfly to the corner of the frame.

Sunny Day

For my card today I used the new POP Sunflower Perfectly Clear Stamp Set and the POP Shapes Die Set.  I just LOVE these POP Dies and POP Stamp Sets because you just have to buy the die set once and it works with all of the POP Stamp Sets (there are just a few of the flowers that need to be hand cut) or they can be used alone!  I used a little artistic liberty and colored my sunflowers with pink and purple colored pencils, they don't have to be yellow if you don't want them to be.

Have a Ball

Have you seen the new release from Stampendous?  They have come out with a new POP Frame Die Set and a bunch of stamp sets that work with it, one is the Sports Frame Perfectly Clear Set that I used to make this Birthday shaker card.
Here's how my card was made;
  1. Stamp Sports Frame on watercolor paper with black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder and watercolor with Inktense Pencils.
  2. Die-cut the Sports Frame using the           Die Set.
  3. Die-cut white cardstock with the largest of the frames and trim the two edges with scissors.
  4. Lay the frame on top of the last die-cut piece and stamp the sentiment in the center of the frame so that it's stamped on the panel behind the frame.
  5. Glue the acetate to the back of the Sports Frame.
  6. Place foam tape around the backside of the frame being sure not to leave any gaps.
  7. Place a small amount of Glitter Glass on top of the sentiment and adhere the frame over it.
  8. Cut red and white striped decorative paper slightly smaller than a blue card and glue it on.
  9. Glue the frame diagonally to the card.

Warm Thoughts

  • Die-cut two pieces of kraft color cardstock, one-piece each of light blue cardstock, lavender cardstock,  black cardstock, and one piece of decorative paper using the Mr. Mrs. Gingerbread Die Cut.
  • Glue blue and black pieces onto one of the gingerbread men as shown and set aside.

  • Cut the hands and feet off of the decorative paper gingerbread man to make a cute little outfit for the Mrs.
  • Glue the pieces on as shown.
  • Apply two pink adhesive heart rhinestones for the buttons and set aside.

  • Die-cut white cardstock using the Nested Banner Stitch Die Set and Slimline OPC Diagonal die.
  •  Die-cut white cardstock with the Nested Oval Small Stitch Die Cut Set from light blue cardstock.
  • Glue the Slimline OPC Diagonal onto lavender paper, pop this up onto slightly larger decorative paper, and glue it onto a grey slimline card.
  • Die-cut white glitter paper with the Small Snow Flake Die 5100-03D and 5100-04D.  Glue these to the card.
  • Stamp sentiment from the Wintery Friends stamp set with black in on the die-cut banner, glue it on top of the blue oval die-cut and glue flat to the center of the card.
  • Randomly add dots of Nuvo Crystal Crushed Grape around the sentiment.
  • Pop up Mr. and Mrs. Gingerbread Die Cut to each side of the sentiment.

  • There were some cutout images on my desk and thought they would also look good on the card, so I added the bottom two cards for a couple more ideas.

These are the Rubbernecker Stamps products used for the cards.

We Survived!

We did it everyone, we survived 2020!!  Stampendous has the Hello 2021 set to celebrate this and many other occasions for years to come.  I paired Hello 2021 with the POP Frame Die Set to create dimension and interest for this fun card.
Here's how my card was made;

  1. The frame was die-cut from watercolor paper, stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink, and embossed with clear embossing powder.
  2. It was then watercolored with Inktense Pencils and popped up using foam squares on decorative.
  3. The decorative paper was layered onto a slightly larger white cardstock and glued to a purple card.
  4. 2020 was stamped on white cardstock and sponged with purple inks then cut out and glued to the center of the frame.
