Altered Box For Fall

Today I have something a little different, it's an altered hearing aid box.  In my Bunco group, one of the ladies works for a doctor and they get an excess of hearing aid boxes, so rather than throw them away, she gave each of us one to decorate of course!!  Here is what I came up with, a Fall Wreath.

I wrapped the box with decorative paper, die-cut the circle out of burlap using the Circle Stitch OPC Die and die-cut the leaves using the Fall Leaf Die Set from colored cardstock and sponged them with the same colors of inks.  Smile was also die-cut, this was super quick and easy.  To make the drawer easy to open I added a ribbon pull attached with a decorative brad.

Winter Wonderland

Hi there, today I have a snowman card made with the new Snowman with Lantern stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps.  I colored him with Prisma Colored Pencils and added Crystal Stickles to the trim of the hat and to the ball, then on the scarf Silver Stickles was added.
To make the glitter background, I used the Mixed Squares Stencil and applied BoBunny Silver Glitter Paste to a light blue cardstock panel and wow in person it's so sparkly!! Once it was dry I die cut a circle using The Nested Circle Stitch Die Set and layered it onto a gray circle scallop cut with the Nested Cir Scallop w/ Holes Die.

The circles were popped up on a strip of the paste embossed piece and it's all layered on a panel of  Kaisercraft Let It Snow decorative paper.
The sentiment is Magic of the Season and it was embossed with white embossing powder.

I hope you have a creative day!

Splendor of Autumn

Hi my friends!  Fall is my favorite time of year, the colors, the leaves, the cooler weather, I love it all!!  For today's card I used the Splatter Leaves set and the matching Fall Leaf DieSet from Rubbernecker Stamps, aren't these leaves gorgeous!

Here's how my card was made;
1.  The Splatter Leaves were stamped with Tiger Lily, Leaf Green and Carnation Red Wendy Vecchi Blendable Dye Inks and cut out using the Fall Leaf Die Set.
2.  The same inks were brushed onto the edges of the leaves and blended inward.
3.  The Brick Wall Stencil was sponged with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Inks across the center a white panel.
4.  Leaf Green and Tiger Lily Inks were splattered on the panel.
5.  Gold glitter washi tape was placed towards the bottom of the stenciled bricks and the panel was die cut using the Nested Rectangle Stitch Die Set.
6.  The sentiment was stamped on the top of the panel with Carnation Red and Tiger Lily Inks and the two side leaves were glued flat and the center leaf was popped up using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
7.  The panel was adhered to an orange panel and popped up on a patterned tan card.

Here's a card I recently shared, using just the Fall Leaf Die Set without the stamp set, you can see the Blog post HERE.

These Rubbernecker Stamps products were used to make my card, you can click on the product to go to the Rubbernecker Stamps site.
