You're The Best!

This weekend you will get your fill of House Mouse cards with the Stampendous Design Team and Passionate Paper Creations and Friends, sharing these cute little creatures.

Today I have this cute little friendship card to share.

Here is how my card was made;

1. Stamp Be Mine in black and color with pencils.
2. Emboss the top with Shabby Blue Embossing Enamle, heating from underneath so not to blow off the embossing enamel.  Layer onto a green panel and set aside.
3. Wrap green ribbon twice, around a pink card, glue image to the card and stamp sentiment at the bottom with black ink.

Birthday Smiles

This is a fabulous saying and my goal is to age gracefully, smile a lot and embrace every wrinkle that may bring.  We need to be proud of aging and not ashamed because really, what is the alternative?

1.  Color white paper with blue and green inks by rubbing them on your craft mat, spritz with water and tap your paper in it.  Let dry and stamp Birthday Wishes with black ink.  Color Smiles with a white pen.
2.  Paste emboss the right side of a black panel with Flower Lace stencil with Dreamweaver Stencils Embossing Paste and let dry.
3.  Replace the stencil over the image and stipple with metallic pearl paint.
4.  Glue sentiment to the black panel and layer onto a blue and black panel.

Hopping with Stampendous and Scrap Book Adhesives

We have been having are a great time in a collaboration happening all this week with the folks at Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and their designers. We've been sharing creative ways to keep it together using Stampendous stamps, stencils, dies and the sticky nature of Scrapbook Adhesives products.

We would love for you to hop along with us, comment as you go because we have a great prize package put together for three randomly selected commenters. Be sure to visit my Stamp This facebook page to see who the lucky winnerers  Here’s the fabulous package.
THREE prize packages that contain one each;
PLUS a $20 Stampendous Reward Card (US and Canada Winners Only) – winners outside USA will receive a stamp, a stencil and a surprise goodie at random plus the above adhesives.
Deadline to comment is April 23 by 11:59 pm Pacific time.
Here is my project today;
1.  I stamped the  sailboat from the new Sailboats set on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine ink, embossed with clear embossing powder and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.
Sailboat Cling Rubber Stamp Set
2.  The image was cut out using the matching Sailboats Die Cut Set and glued with 3 in 1 Glue, to a card that was stenciled with waves which comes with the Sailboats stamp set, using Denim ink and splattered using a wet brush and Denim ink.
Sailboat Die Set
3.  The waves were stamped on blue paper with Majestic Blue VersaFine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder and cut out using the matching die.  It was then popped up over the bottom of the boat with 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

4.  The sentiment is from the Ocean Wisdom Perfectly Clear Set, stamped on white paper with black ink.  It was then die cut with Fitted Frames A.  Some of the letters were cut off, so I stamped it again on blue paper, glued the white piece over the blue so it would match up, then die cut it again with the larger frame and it worked perfectly!!  This was then popped at the top of the card with 3D Foam Squares.

If you're looking for a great durable heat gun, Stampendous carries the Wagner Embossing Heat Tool which is made my Milwaukee. I've had my Milwaukee for about 10 years and it's still going strong!

Here is my project today;
For my project today I'm sharing a banner made using the Pennant Set from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. To make it I stenciled the flower from the Blossom Duo Set with Dreamweaver Stencils Embossing Paste I colored with yellow, orange and green re-inkers.   To do this I put some embossing paste on my craft mat, added a drop of re-inker and mixed, it's as easy as that.
Above I mixed in yellow re-inker, and below I show the stenil with green tinted embossing paste.

Once dry a button was glued to the center of each flower using 3 in 1 Glue.

The banner pieces were attached to the rope with 3D Foam Squares.

Here's a closer up picture of the banner.  It has been gloomy and rainy her so I couldn't get a well lit picture and my walls are dark beige which doesn't help!

Here is my card;

I love the Seashells set and decided to stamp them on colored paper with matching inks and shade them just a bit with colored pencils. They were then cut out using the matching dies. Frayed burlap was wrapped around a white panel and a strip of Voyage Beneath the Sea paper was glued to the center with 3 in 1 Glue as were the seashells. The sentiment is from the Ocean Wisdom Perfectly Clear Stamp Set and stamp in black.  White self adhesive pearls were then colored with a Spectrum Noir pen and randomly placed them.
