Sassy Travels

This Sassy Travel Perfectly Clear Set from Stampendous is just the cutest!  I like using a black silhouette against a watercolored background, it really pops.  Stampendous has another super cute silhouette set, Sassy City that I've linked up for you to take a look at.

Here's how my card was made;
1.  To make the watercolor background use a long rectangle acrylic block and rub Worn Lipstick and Wild Honey inks directly on the block, spritz with water and stamp it on a white cardstock panel.  Let dry.
2.  Stamp the Paris scene and the stars from the Sassy Travel Perfectly Clear Set with Onyx Black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
3.  Place a thin strip of double sided tape at the top and bottom of the watercolor area, sprinkle with Gold Micro Glitter and wipe off any excess.
4.  Stamp the image and Bonjour below the Paris scene with Onyx Black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
5.  Glue to a black panel and then to a pink card.

2.  Use blue decorative chalk with a flat brush to add shading around the image. This is a great way to add shading around an image, it's super quick and easy.  People ask if it comes off when rubbed and NO it doesn't and NO you don't have to seal it, easy peasy.
3.  Stamp words from the Greetings Galore Perfectly Clear Set with black ink on white cardstock, cut out and sponge with blue ink.
4.  Using a fine line black pen, draw broken lines around the words and pop up the image with foam squares.

Pretty Upcycled Paper Bag Card

Hi, today I'm up on the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog with this card made using a brown grocery bag.  To make it I cut a piece of the bag, crumpled it up and stamped on it using the Leaves Set with VersaMark Ink and embossed with white.  It's layered on a white card stamped with Splatter Stains Set in Antique Linnen.  For a pop of color purple ribbon is tied around the card and the Idiots Happen sentiment is stamped on purple paper and white embossed.

Foxy Friend

I'm up on the Rubbernecker Blog with a card made using the super cute new Fox Set, here's what the set looks like.

The fox is colored with watercolor pencils and layered on leaves cut from the new Small Leaf Group Die. Everything is layered onto a green panel, then a larger white panel and glued to a pink card.

The sentiment from the set, was stamped on the white panel. The green panel layered on top of the white was die cut with the Nested Circle Stitch Die Set.

For a touch of sparkle, a few sequins were added, they were glued down with Art Glitter Glue.
