Have A Great Day!

It's Circle Time over at Stampendous and the Design Team will be sharing projects made with the Tree Circle stamp that I've used today and the Wisteria Circle that I shared during Sneak Peek Week, you can see it HERE.

  1. Stamp Tree Circle on white cardstock with black ink.
  2. Color the grass with green pencils then sponge with yellow and orange inks, being sure not to sponge over the green area.  Cut out, layer onto a larger black circle and set aside.
  3. Dry emboss a white panel with the Diamond Grid Metal Stencil, add a decorative paper strip down the side and glue to a green card.
  4. Pop up Tree Circle on the card.
  5. Stamp sentiment from the Big Words Thanks Perfectly Clear Set on a black strip of paper with VersaMark Ink and emboss with white. Glue to the bottom of the card.
Be sure to stop by the Stampendous Blog to see what the other Design Team Members have shared this week!

A Flowery Feel Better

Today I'm up on the Rubbernecker Blog with a flowery, Feel Better Quick card.  I used the new Mixable Flower Stack Die which gives you five different sizes of stackable flowers and five different sizes of dots.

I die cut my flowers and dots from bright colors of yellow and green papers, then glued them to a white panel.  The sentiment is from the Best Friend Etc set, it was stamped on a strip of white paper with Onyx Black VersFine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.

This was layered onto decorative paper and glued to the card.  Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops were used for random dots around the card.

Everyday Chicks Party!

Oh my gosh I absolutely LOVE the new Everyday Chicks Set with Dies from the April Stampendous catalog!! Yes the dies come with the stamp set.  You have to cut them apart and the die leaves a bit of white around the chicks so it doesn't cut off the fur/feathers so be sure to color the edges.

The Stampedous Design Team will all be sharing creations made with the Everyday Chicks Set, so be sure to check out the Stampendous Blog to see all the different ways you can use this set, link's at the bottom of the page.

Here's how my card was made.
1.  Stamp chicks party hat and balloon on cardstock, color with colored pencils and us matching dies to cut out.  Set aside.
2.  Place Southwest Background Metal Stencils on a white cardstock panel diagonally and sponge with Faded Jeans and Mediterranean Blue inks.
3.  Stamp Happy diagonally above the stenciled area with Onyx Black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
4.  Stamp Birthday on a black strip of paper with VersaMark Ink, emboss with white embossing powder and attach a ribbon brad.
5.  Glue all pieces to the stenciled panel, layer onto decorative paper and glue to a yellow card.

Autism Awareness Blog Hop

This week Stampendous is participating in the Autism Awareness Blog Hop and I'm sharing a bright and colorful card for the occasion.

Here's how my card was made;
1.  Stamp Hydrangea once and leaves twice on watercolor paper with VersaMark Ink and emboss with white.
2.  Color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and use matching dies to cut out.
3.  Paste emboss a kraft color panel using the Rain Metal Stencil and embossing paste. Let dry.
4.  Glue paste embossed panel to a yellow card.  Glue down Hydrangea and leaves, cutting off any over hang.
5.  Stamp sentiment on a black strip of paper with VersaMark Ink, emboss with white and pop up on the card.  Add rhinestone to one end.
