Today I have a Christmas canvas to share using stamps, stencils, stencil paste and Glue Dots.  To start the canvas was painted with acrylic paints and set aside to dry.  Create a Poinsettia  was stamped on tissue paper with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and painted with Twinkling H2O's.  Once dry, glue to canvas using Fast Finish Decoupage.

Once dry it was glued to the canvas with Fast Finish.  Create a Poinsettia was stamped 3 more times on Mixed Media White Paper with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and painted with Twinkling H2O's, then die cut with the matching Create a Poinsettia Die Set.  Attach the full die cut over the Poinsettia tissue paper using Glue Dots and layer the remaining pieces using foam tape.

Music Score was stamped on white computer paper with black ink, torn out and glued to the canvas using Fast Finish Decoupage.

Graduated Dot Stencil was randomly stenciled using Dreamweaver Stencils Metallic Gold Embossing Past.

Once dry, apply Glue Dots to the canvas and sprinkle dots with Red, Green and Gold Micro Glitter.

On my card today I used the NK Studio Marks set to create the background.

NK Studio Marks
1.  I started off coloring a white panel with orange and pink Gelatos.
2.  The stencil that comes with the set was laid on top of the colored panel and sponged with gesso.
3.  Once dry several stamps from the Marks set were stamped with London Fog Memento ink.
4.    Stamp Sentiment from the Happy Greetings Perfectly Clear Set on tissue paper with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, cut out and glue to the center of the colored panel using Fast Finish Decoupage using a flat brush to brush it on.  The tissue paper almost become invisible.

31 Days Of Halloween

I love this Mirror Mirror stamp from Stampendous, you just stamp once and you're done!  So easy right?  I made the background using blue and purple inks on glossy paper and then sprayed it with purple.  Once dry Mirror Mirror was stamped with black ink.

Spoonful of Midnight Embossing Powder and Elements was added around the edges  and heated from underneath so it wouldn't blow off.   Then a die cut 31 was added to the bottom corner along with several plastic spiders.

After the panel was layered onto black paper and mounted to a purple card, May Arts decorative self adhesive ribbon (I love that this is self adhesive!!) was add to the left side.

31 Days Of Halloween

Don't have the right decorative paper for your card background?  It's okay, you don't need it, make your own!!  Here is how my card was made.

1.   To make the back ground lay the LX7001 Damask stencil on white paper, spray with black metallic spray. Before removing the stencil, lay another white cardstock panel on top of the stencil to soak up the spray on top, this is the panel I used.
Last year I used the same stencil on my card for 31 Days of Halloween and it looks completely different, you can see it HERE.
2.  Once the panel is dry, sponge with violet ink and stamp Danse Macabre on decorated panel with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Color in the skeleton with a white Uniball pigment pen.
3.  Stamp words from the Tricky Words Perfectly Clear Set on white paper with black ink.  Tear the edges and sponge with purple ink.
