Will Work For Stamps!

Today I have this bright, cheery and fun card up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog.  I love their adhesives especially when I have a lot of elements stuck down and popped up, with their adhesives I know nothing will fall off!

Here's how I made my card, first I stamped the images on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and watercolored them using Inktense Pencils.
Once the shirt is dry, it was stamped with the sentiment using Onyx Black VersaFine Ink.
To cut them out, the matching dies were used.

Die-cut white cardstock using a slimline die and use the E-Z Dots Permanent Runner to attach the flowers and leaves except for the daisies, as shown.

The smaller 3D Foam Circles were used from the Permanent White Mix to pop up the shirt in the center of the card and also pop up the daisies, one on each side of the shirt. You always want to use enough of the 3D Foam Circles so the edges of your images don't droop, that's why I don't just use one in the center of the flower.

Attach the decorated panel to a black and white buffalo plaid card using the E-Z Dots Permanent Runner.
Apply Sunflower Liquid Pearls to the center of the daisies.
Randomly add a few black and white epoxy dots to the card.

BE the CHANGE!

What a wonderful world it would be if we all took personal responsibility and lived by this sentiment!  I used the Slim Cling Rose Tendrils from Stampendous.  It's a slimline stamp and it's so nice to be able to just stamp once and your card is complete except for the sentiment. That fabulous sentiment is from the Amazing Woman Perfectly Clear Set that has so many wonderfully inspiring sayings.

To make my card I stamped the Slim Cling Rose Tendrils on watercolor paper and watercolored the image with Inktense Pencils.  I shadowed around the flowers with blue chalk from the Jane Davenport Palette Pastel- Chilled using a flat dry paintbrush.  This panel was layered onto a slightly larger Mixed Media White Cardstock panel and attached to a green slimline card with final measurements being 8 1/2" x 3 1/2".
The sentiment was stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink on Mixed Media White Cardstock, layered onto a slightly larger black cardstock panel and popped up using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Here's a close-up of the rose.

Birthday Calories Don't Count!

The beginning of the new year is always a good time to get a bunch of birthday cards made to have on hand for the year.  I used the new super cute POP Cupcake Perfectly Clear Stamp Set and the POP Shapes Die Set from Stampendous.  This one die set works with their new line of POP Stamps, it's so nice to not have to buy a die set for each of the stamp sets!
Here's how my card was made-
  1. Stamp the cupcake and candle from the POP Cupcake Perfectly Clear Set, with black ink and color with watercolor pencils.
  2. Die-cut the images using the POP Shapes Die Set and set them aside.
  3. Stamp the sentiment from the same set on lavender decorative paper with black ink and die-cut with a banner die.  Set aside.
  4. Layer a strip of green and white striped decorative paper onto slightly larger black and yellow cardstock then glue to a lavender card.
  5. Glue the bottom of the cupcake flat on the card and pop up the frosting and candle with foam squares.
  6. Glue the banner to the top left of the card.
  7. Randomly apply rhinestones to the frosting and a few to the card.
