Congratulations

Hi my friends, this week I've been in Nevada visiting my daughter, son-in-law and new little grandbaby.  So I haven't been able to craft but I have been able to catch up on a few posts for cards I've recently made.  This card was made using the Entangled Flourish clear set from Honey Doo Crafts.  The flowers were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens on Strathmore Bristol Smooth Paper, the paper really makes a huge difference.  I also use my Zigs on watercolor paper but I haven't had any luck just using regular cardstock.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year's Eve to all you crafty fanatics, you've made it through another year of creativity!  My last card of the year is a bright floral card using Honey Doo Crafts Cherry Blossom Stamps and matching Die Set.  The purple flowers were stamped on a long rectangle watercolor panel with VersaMark Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Color the two flowers with Zig Clean Color Clear Brush Markers.

Stamp the flower one more time and the leaves the same as above on a separate piece of watercolor paper.  Color this one with pink Zigs, the leaves with green and use the matching dies to die cut.  Pop these up on the flower panel, layer onto black then onto decorative paper and glue to a black card.

Stamp sentiment from the Mini Sentiments Stamp Set on a white strip of paper with black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Glue to card and add a pink rhinestone.

Have a fun and safe New Year's Eve and I'll see you back here tomorrow!!!!!

You're Unstoppable

Honey Doo Crafts has some beautiful stamps and matching dies that make creating pretty cards so easy.  For this card, I used the Spring Flowers set with the Spring Flowers Dies set.  It's colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on watercolor paper and layer on a panel stenciled with the Brick Wall Stencil and brown ink.  The sentiment is from the Hopeful and Happy Quotes which is stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Watercolored Flowers

Today I have a card made with  Honey Doo Crafts stamps, I've used Spring Flowers, Spring Flowers Die and Hopeful and Happy Quotes.

The Spring Flowers were stamped and embossed on watercolor paper, colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut.  The sentiment was stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  A strip of decorative paper was glued to the bottom of a white card, the flowers and leaves were glued and popped up over the seam. It's as simple at that!

Honey Doo Crafts will be on a U.K. craft channel, Hochanda November 10th, be sure to tune in.  You can even watch it online if you don't live in the U.K., just click HERE to find out how.  There's a list of upcoming shows or you can watch past shows.  I wish we had this here in the U.S.!

Honey Doo Crafts New Sets

I've been having so much fun playing with the new Honey Doo Crafts stamp sets.  Today's card uses the Fleur and Brush Strokes sets.  The flowers were stamped with Onyx Black VeraFine Ink, embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and cut out.  The background was stamped using one of the stamps from the Brush Strokes set and stamped multiple times with Dried Marigold and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks.  A white circle was glued to the center of the background panel and the flowers and leaves were arranged around it.

Stop by the Honey Doo Crafts site and take a look at new product they have for your crafting pleasure!

Honey Doo Crafts New Release

Today I have another card made with Honey Doo Crafts New Release, Fleur Set.  These flowers and leaves are so pretty and you can arrange them so many ways.

The background was made by randomly stamping watercolor paper with flowers and leaves from the set with VersaMark Ink and embossing with white embossing powder.  Then the Direct to Paper technique was used by rubbing Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Inks directly over the embossed background.  Water was spritzed on the inks so they blend, this was set aside to dry.  A flower and two leaves were stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink, embossed with clear and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  These were cut out, the flower petals were curled and glued to a black circle.  White dots were added around the flower and the circle was glued to the watercolored panel, this was layered onto a black panel and glued to a white card.  A Sentiment was stamped and embossed on black paper, then glued to the bottom of the card.

Carnation Card

Hi friends, here's another card using new release stamps from Honey Doo Crafts.  It uses the Carnations Set and Paint Splodges Set.  I really love how the Carnation Set has open lined carnations and bold stems, that way you can stamp the stems with green ink, I used Olympia Green VersaFine Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Next, I stamped and embossed the carnations on watercolor paper with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink, colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, cut out and popped them up on the stems.  For the background, I used a stamp from the Paint Splodges Set, inked with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink and stamped on a white cardstock panel.  This was then layered onto a larger green panel and glued to a purple card.  I think this color combination is oh so pretty!

New Release!

I'm so excited to share this card with you today!  I was asked by Honey Doo Crafts to be a Guest Designer for their new release of stamps.  They have five new sets, three are floral and two are backgrounds.  This card uses stamps from the Fleur Set and Brushed Strokes Set.

Here's how it was made;
1.  The flower and leaves were stamped on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with black VersaFine Ink, embossed with clear and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
2.  A circle was die cut from a white panel and a background stamp from the Paint Strokes set was stamped at the bottom with orange ink.  The sentiment was then stamped and embossed.
3.  A blue ribbon was tied around one side then glued to decorative paper and mounted to a white card. A few circle stickers were randomly placed for interest.
