A Cup Of... Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Today starts the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and it will run all week long with a lot of prizes to be won! So check out the Stampendous! Blog and Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog for all of the details on how to play along.

My card uses the POP Rose Teacup stamp set and the POP Shapes Die Set from Stampendous.  The images were stamped with VersaMark Ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder then colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.  The flowers were stamped on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper (this is the best paper I have found to use with Zigs)  and the background was stamped on Mixed Media White Paper.

The background was stamped with the Slim Cling Floral Wings also from Stampendous.  It was stamped with VersaMark Ink, embossed with White Embossing Powder and sponged with pink inks.  The teacup was glued flat and the flowers were die-cut and popped up.
Adhesives that were used are from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and are 3D Foam Circles White Mixed, EZ Runner Grand Tape Runner and Dual Tip Glue Pen.

Sharing a Sip

Hi there, here is my last card for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop have you been playing along?  Be sure to check out what Stampendous has to share!  Now get that cup of coffee, put up your feet and get ready to play along for your chance to win prizes!!!!

My card is clean and simple, my favorite kind since I like a lot of white on my cards.
  • I stamped Sharing A Sip with Onyx VersaFine Ink and colored it with Prisma Colored Pencils.
  • It was then layered onto a larger red cardstock panel and red and white twine was tied around the left side.
  • This was then glued to a white card.
  • Glitter was applied to the Santa hats, marshmallows, and steam.  In real life, it's so pretty and sparkly!
  • The sentiment is from the From My Heart Perfectly Clear Set, it was stamped on white cardstock with black ink and layered onto red cardstock.  It was then popped up with foam squares.
Now head on over to Fall/Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and see what they have in store for you!

Adulting is Hard

Hi there and welcome!  Today's card is for those of us who may be having a hard time adulting, how about coffee?  If it doesn't make things better, it makes things easier to handle haha.  The stamps, dies, and inks are from Rubbernecker Stamps, links are at the bottom.

Here's how my card was made-
  • Die-cut white cardstock with the Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die Cut Set (2) and the Nested Oval Small Stitch Die Cut Set (1).
  • Die-cut two shades of green cardstock using the Tabbed Grass Die Cut.

  • Use the Clouds Stencil to stencil pink clouds using Posey Color Fuse Ink.

  • Stamp the sentiment from the Coffee Cats Set with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.

  • Glue this to one of the rectangle panels and sprinkle Gold Crushed Glitter Glass in the center of the oval.
  • Glue this to the center of pink cardstock that was cut with the Nested Deckle Rectangle Dies.
  • Then glue to a white card.

  • Glue the grass die-cut pieces to the front of the second rectangle.
  • Glue acetate to the back of the rectangle panel and apply foam tape.
  • To help prevent the shaker bits from clinging to the acetate, wipe it with a new dryer sheet.

  • Place this panel over the sentiment panel.
  • Stamp the cute cat from the same set with black ink, color with Inktense Pencils, cut out, and glue to the front of the card.
  • Add a few sequins and you're done.

Have a creative day!

Why I Have Coffee

Hi everyone, today and I have a coffee card for you to get your week started.  This cute little wide-eyed owls name is Preston, doesn't he look like he's had just a little too much caffeine?
Here's how my card was made-
  • Stamp Preston on white cardstock with Onyx Black VersaMark Ink and color with Prisma Colored Pencils. Use the matching die to cut out and set aside.

  • Die-cut white cardstock using the largest Nested Rectangle Small Stitched Die and stamp the sky background using one of the stamps from the Watercolor Backgound Set and Color Fuse Inks Set #9.  Start stamping with the darkest color of ink down to the lightest.
  • Die-cut the grass using the Tabbed Grass Set Die Cut and cut from two different shades of green cardstock and glue it to the bottom of the sky panel.
  • Pop up Preston using foam squares so one of his foot is on the grass.
  • Die-cut white cardstock using the Nested Square Small Stitch Die Cut Set and stamp it with Out of Jail using Onyx Black VersaMark Ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
  • Layer this onto a slightly larger green panel and pop up with foam squares.
  • Randomly apply blue Nuvo Drops to the card, let dry and glue to a craft colored top folded card.

Have a creative day!
