Challenges Galor!

Today I knocked out three challenges with this one card! So the SCS challenges are SC217 a sketch challenge, CC207 a color challenge and WT207 a frugal finds challenge. The colors used are mustard, orange and olive. The flowers were stamped using all three colors onto white squares, thanks is stamped on the mustard piece in black, then VersaMark was "patted" (don't rub or the ink will smear) on top and embossed with a clear glitter powder. The orange paper is sponged with orange and then stamped with the flower stamp after it has been stamped once on scratch paper. Do the same with the mustard panel and mustard ink.
Recipe

Stamps- flowers by Great Impressions, "thanks" by MSE
Ink- Adirondack butterscotch, lettuce and orange (I think it now has a new name), VersaFine black, VersaMark
Plus- Kaleidoscope embossing powder by Stampendous, flower punches, small black brad

Tomorrow I'll be picking up our troops Girl Scout cookies and I will have about 250 cases of cookies in my family room, luckily the girls will be unloading the cars. I'll try to remember to take a picture of all of those cases. We have 15 cookie booths scheduled in March, I better start stocking up on magazines so I'll have something to do at all of those booths!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great weekend :)

Love To You

SCS has a limited supply challenge LSC202 today to use hearts and red, so here is my submission. I used a clear set "Mega Love" from Stampendous, I love this set, the font is really nice. The love is inked with rocket red Brilliance and the to you is inked with black Versa Fine. The heart is a Sizzix die that is popped up on foam squares, the corner punch is a SU punch and I don't know the brand of scallop punch I used but it us from Michael's. The black dots on the corner punches are stickers from Stampendous. Gold ribbon is run along the top border of the red paper, Fabri-Tac was used to glue it down.

It is crazy windy here, I'm hoping our trees don't blow over and it is supposed to be like this until Sunday night. I really don't like the wind, talk about a bad hair day!
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Halloween Treat Pail

I have seen many people using this cute little spider on projects and thought he would be perfect for Halloween Treat Pails. To make the spider use the circle scallop punch (punches by SU) for the body and the photo corner punch for the legs, it's that easy. I used Fabri-Tac glue to glue him together and to the pail, I put a rubber band around the pail until the glue dries. He sticks great and I haven't had any pop off! A few ribbons were added to the handle and then candy corn in a bag and you have a cute little gift. The pails are from Targets dollar section, you get two pails for a dollar. Melanie will give some of these to her teachers and friends. Greg on the other hand doesn't want to give them to his teachers, he's a afraid kids will call him "teacher's pet". He did tell me who his favorite teacher is and gave his permission for me to deliver these. Boys and girls are definitely different!

Now here are my cute little dogs, okay maybe not so little but they think they are lap dogs! This is where they sleep, in the kitchen dinning area and they love their little pen. Maxie is the brown one and Minie is black and white, believe it or not they are sisters, a lab/pit mix. When we got them we only planned on getting one, Maxie was so pretty she was the one I wanted while Greg had his heart set on Minie because she has one white ear and one black I just couldn't say no. When we named the dogs my husband jokingly said "Mini will probably be bigger than Maxie", well guess what happened he was right.

Enjoy your weekend :)
