You must post the rules before you give your answers. You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. After you've been tagged, you need to up-date your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details.Ok here goes!! )

Birthday Calories Don't Count
When I made this card, I wanted to use the striped decorative paper so I designed the card around that. The harlequin stamp I used for the background is one of my favorites and it was discontinued my Hero Arts! I couldn't believe it when I saw the new catalogue :( But I will continue to use it, somethings you just can't give up. So enough with my whining. I stamped the harlequin with versamark. The shadow stamp (also discontinued) was stamped with lettuce and the sentiment over stamped with currant. The cupcake was stamped with black and colored with watercolor pencils and I dusted off my corner rounder for the two corners. After I put the card together, I put the circle stickers towards the bottom, this wasn't planned but worked out great! The sun is finally out today and it should reach the high 50's. It is beautiful out but it won't last long, the rain will be back this weekend. We have year round school here and my son will be off track for the month of February, Friday is his last day, I'm hoping for nice weather so he won't be couped up in the house. I hope the weather is nice where you are :)

Happy Birthday

Here's a birthday card I made, you can never have too many of these! I stamped the background with a clear set from Stampendous so I could line up the stripes pretty easily. The images are watercolored with watercolor pencils (I love them). The stickers are also by Stampendous.
Boy has it been raining here in not so sunny Southern California! This week we had double the rain that we had all of last year, hopefully that will mean no drought this summer :)
I have a question for all you stampers, my neighbors 16 year old dog died yesterday, do I make a dog sympathy card or is that a little creepy? I just got my Hero Arts order and I got their really cute dog clear set. The only thing is all of the dogs look so happy. Please let me know what you think.

Thank You
This card is for the WT150 challenge over at SplitCoastStampers. The challenge was to make a card using acrylic paint. So I painted a piece of acetate with pink acrylic paint, let it dry and then stamped Thank You on the opposite side using StazOn ink. Then I attached the acetate to blush cardstock using small gold brads. I applied circle stickers to the thank you to add a little bling! The card was stamped with a background stamp using pastel pink chalk ink.For my new blogging friends, if you would like to leave a comment, click on the word "comment", not the envelope.

Love Is In The Air
Here is a card I made for a sketch challenge that was posted over at Poetic Artistry called Mojo21, I saw the sketch and love it! I used Fluffles for the main image, embossed it and colored it with Twinkling H2O's, you can't see the shimmer in the scan but it's there. The little hearts on the black strip are stickers that are glittery so the whole card sparkles. The background stamp is by Great Impressions and I added glitter around the hearts, so the whole card sparkles :) For my new blogging friends, if you would like to leave a comment, click on the word comment do not click on the envelope.

Thinking of You
On this card I used a couple of stamps that actually weren't discontinued from Hero Arts, the Fabulous Flourishes and the Leaf. I ordered some new Hero Arts stuff so hopefully I will get the new stamps within two weeks! I can't wait, I think I ordered either 5 or 6 of their new clear sets, no matter how many stamps you have it's still exciting to get new ones :) I wish I had them this week since it is supposed to rain all week and only be in the low 50's,brrrrrr, it will be the perfect time to stamp.Recipe

Inks- white Brilliance, VersaMark, sepia VersaFine, stonewashed Adirondack
Plus- pewter embossing powder, ribbon, sticker eyelet, medium hole punch

Enjoy

Wow is it windy here in So. California! Our power went out at least twice last night, luckily my husbands alarm has a battery back up so he and the kids got up on time. So today I have decided to stay in side except for one little trip to go pick up my new Stamp In Up catalogue :)
I used a really great technique to make this card. It is quick, easy and looks beautiful! I made the background that I stamped the flowers on, the technique doesn't have a name, I'm open for suggestions :)
1. Cut a piece of sticker paper to the correct size and remove the carrier (the paper covering the sticky part).
2. Take a piece of gold foil (can be purchased at craft stores), crumple it up real good, then open it and lay it on top of the sticky side of the sticker paper with the non-shiny part of the foil down. The foil is on a plastic liner, so after you rub the foil, pull the plastic liner up and off of the sticker paper.
3. The foil will look like marble . So now with a fluffy brush, lightly brush on pink Pearl Ex (also found at craft stores), making sure it completely covers the sticker paper. Wipe off the excess powder with a paper towel and you are done. This makes beautiful background papers and you can try this with all different colors!
4. Stamp you image with black StazOn ink and let dry.
