My Friend

I'm loving this Hellebore flower from Stampendous, what I love is that it takes up the whole card so you don't have to worry about filling up the extra space.  I just added leaves and a sentiment and done!

Here's how my card was made;
1.  Stamp Hellebore on watercolor paper with black ink, emboss with Clear Embossing Powder, color with Zigs and cut out.
2.  Splatter drops of pink ink on a yellow card and pop up Hellebore with foam tape.
3.  Die cut leaves using the Build A Wreath Die Set and glue underneath the Hellebore.
4.  Stamp words from the Greetings Galore Perfectly Clear Set onto white strips of cardstock with black ink and emboss with Clear Embossing Powder.  Layer onto black and glue to card as shown.

Penguin Friends- New Release

Today is Whimsy Stamps February Release and look how cute these penguins are!!  I stamped them with VersaFine ink and heat set before coloring with Prisma Colored Pencils, then I cut them out and set aside.  The Buffalo Plaid stamp was inked with black ink, stamped on a white cardstock panel and die cut using the Peekaboo Windows 3 Die.

The bottom piece that was cut out was then used to die cut the Friends Die, it was layered on a black die cut piece then layered onto a pink die cut piece. The Peekaboo Windows 3 Die piece was glued to a pink card with the penguins tucked in the windows.

Black cardstock was die cut with the Peekaboo Windows 3 Die and the bottom panel was glued into the card and the Friends piece was glued on.

Whimsy Wednesday- Whale Love U Always

Happy Whimsy Wednesday!  Today's card is the sweet Whale Of A Time Clear Stamp Set.  The whale is stamped on white cardstock with black ink, colored with Prisma Color Pencils and cut out.

The whale is then rubbed with VersaMark Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder to give it a shiny wet look.  The whale is then layered to a circle that has been sponged with the Making Waves stencil that was sponged with blue ink.

The Speckled Heart Stencil was placed on top of a blue panel and sponged with white ink then layered onto a white card.

The sentiment from the Whale Of A Time Set was stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  This was layered onto a blue panel and layered over a white strip of cardstock die-cut using the Quick Strips Die Set.

Have a creative day!

You're Killer

I've made another card using the Whale Of A Time Stamp Set from Whimsy Stamps this time using the killer whale and sentiment.  You can see my dolphin card HERE.

The whale was colored with Prisma Colored Pencils and clear embossed so he looks wet.  To do this, after the whale was colored, he was patted with a VersaMark Ink pad and embossed with clear embossing powder.

The blue watercolor piece was made with different shades of blue Distress Inks.
