Coffee and Kindness

Welcome, today starts the week-long Coffee Lovers Hop, you'll want to sit down with your cup of coffee and join in the fun, you might just win a prize!!! The information about the Hop is in the graphic below.  

To start this Hop off, I have a card made using Rubbernecker Stamps, stamps, dies, and inks in Spring colors, I was in a green and purple mood this week.

Here's what I did to make my card-

• I used the Coffee Cup Die Cut to cut decorative paper and glued the pieces together after I stamped and embossed  "kindness" on the purple strip on the cup.
• A white cardstock panel was die-cut with the Diamond Tattered Die, then the panel was stamped with leaves from the Spring Meadows Stamp Set using Color Fuse Ink Set #10.
• This was then layered onto purple and green panels then glued to a white card.
• When I went to pop up the coffee cup on the panel, it blended into the background and I wanted it to stand out more.  To do this I layered and offset it on black cardstock also die-cut with the Coffee Cup Die.

• The sentiment was stamped on a black cardstock strip with VersaMark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder then glued to the card.
• To finish it off a few purple pearls were randomly placed on the card.
