Santa Wink

Hi my friends, today's card is using one of my favorite sets from the Stampendous July Catalog, it's called Santa wink.  If you haven't had a chance to see the catalog, click HERE to see it, it's filled with wonderful holiday stamps and beautiful samples!  See if you can find the ones that I made!!

Here's how my card was made;
1.  Stamp Santa Wink on Mixed Media White paper with black ink and color with colored pencils.
2.  Apply Crystal Glitter to the fur on the Santa outfit.
3.  Shade around the image with blue decorative chalk using a flat brush.
4.  Sprinkle Shabby White Embossing Enamel around the Santa and heat emboss from underneath so the embossing enamel doesn't blow off.

5.  Glue a piece of decorative paper to the bottom of the Santa panel.
6.  Apply a strip of double-sided tape over the seam of the decorative paper and sprinkle with Sea Foam Green Ultra Fine Glitter.
7.  Stamp sentiments on red and white papers, emboss with Clear Embossing Powder.
8.  Cute the red into a strip and die cut the white paper using the Fitted Frames B Set.  Pop up both on the card.

Love this clean and simple card, Jamie! It's always a good idea to start simply when making a large number of Christmas cards, and this Qset is perfect for that. Embellishments can always be added as time allows! This is darling.

Cute card. Love the shabby embossing you added around it, too. [Bunny]
