Hydrangea Pitcher

Stampendous is having a Creative Impressions Blog Hop this week and the Design Team is sharing their creations made using their beautiful ribbon. Of course there are prizes!!

There are FIVE terrific prize packages that include Birthday Ensemble Stencil and a Creative Impressions Ribbon Card. Comment by midnight on Sunday, Pacific time and the winners will be announced on Monday, April 24, 2017. US winners only, see Official Contest Rules for more details.

Here is how my card was made;
1.  Watercolor a white panel with Wild Honey and Wilted Violet inks and let dry.
2.  Use the Bricks Stencil to randomly stencil bricks on the watercolor panel with Wilted Violet ink.
3.  Randomly stamp words from the Tweet Chirps Perfectly Clear Set with Wild Honey and glue onto a larger purple panel.  Tie the side with green ribbon.
4.  Stamp Hydrangea Pitcher on white cardstock with black ink and color with colored pencils.  Cut out and pop up on the watercolor panel.
5.  Randomly stencil bricks on a yellow panel with Wild Honey ink.  Glue panel onto card.

Nice! So you used a die cut, yes? What type of machine did you use to cut it out? Thanks!

Love the mug with the flowers.
Popping that off the card makes
for an interesting card.
The background is so pretty
and the black ribbon really
highlights it.
thanks for sharing.

I couldn't get over all the new techniques that you used for your card. The making of your own pattern paper with the bricks and words for one of the layers was genius. And your colors of wild honey and wilted violet together was very charming; I liked it a lot and you carried that theme of colors throughout the whole card. The colors of the pot with the hydrangas, your main focal point, was truly a terrific eyecatcher. So beautiful.
