Congratulations!!

Today I'm sharing another card I had in the Stampendous October catalog.  My son is graduating in May and I think this will be the perfect card for him.

Stamp Cap and Scroll with black Versafine, heat set and color with watercolor pencils.  Apply Gold Encrusted Jewels to the edges and layer onto black.  Stamp Congrats , apply Gold Encrusted Jewels, wrap with gold cord and mount to a red card.

For Baby

Baby cards are fun to make, they are cute and the colors are so pretty.  Today I'm sharing a House-Mouse Designs® card that I had in the Stampendous catalog and did you know you can buy the Stampendous catalogs?  Just ask your local stamp store to order one for you or they may have some on hand!  Or if you prefer you can flip through it HERE.

Baby Blocks is stamped with black Versafine, heat set then colored with pencils.  Then it's layered and the card is tied with some fabulous May Arts ribbon and a few rhinestones are added to the corner.  Easy peasy and adorable!

Coffee And A Friend...

Nice warm coffee is what I need on this freezing cold winters day and it tastes much better when you share it with a friend! Stampendous has come out with yet another great stamp, Shared Coffee. Stamp it once and you're done...except for the little popped up cup of coffee at the top.

Shared Coffee was stamped with Black Versafine ink, heat set and colored with watercolor pencils.  The edges were torn and sponged with Walnut Distress Ink.

Spring Is Around The Corner

This week the ladies from the Stampendous Design Team are sharing creations made with images from the October 2013 and January 2014 catalogs!

This card is quick and easy, the stamp is called Wild Roses and it's a collage stamp.  So stamp once and your done. The roses are colored with watercolor pencils and blue chalk was rubbed around the image for a shadow.  May Arts ribbon was wrapped around the bottom and tied with a button.

Here is another HapppyHoppers available from Stampendous!  The image was stamped and colored with pencils and layered on pink paper that was dry embossed with a circle design to resemble bubbles.  White Brilliance was rubbed directly onto the paper.

Baby It's Cold Outside!!

With this crazy COLD weather we are having, a snowman thankyou card is perfect for this winter! This will the Stampendous Design Team will be showing snowmen cards, so stop by the Stampendous Blog for their links!

Here is how my snowman card was made and all stamps, embossing powders, glitter and Fran's Sticky Panels are from Stampendous.

1.  Stamp Top Hat Snowman in black on white paper and color with pencils.
2. Cut out sing a Spellbinder circle die but don't cut the hat off.
3.  Layer onto dark blue paper that has been stamped with the snowflake from the set with Versamark ink and embossed with white powder.
4.  Then place pink Dot Sparklers on the scarf and Shaved Ice as snow using Beacon 3 in 1 glue to adhere it.

5.  Stamp Kind Friendship in purple on white paper, stamp around the edges with the snowflake using light blue and randomly apply silver Dot Sparklers.  Layer onto dark blue paper and pop up on card.

6.  The decorative paper didn't have enough snow flakes in the upper left corner so I punch 2 flakes out of Fran's Sticky Panels, applied them to the corner and sprinkled with white glitter.

Quick And Easy Card

I'm playing around with the One Layer Simplicity Challenge again and again I used the Agapanthus Cluster from Stampendous, I just love, love, love it!!

To make the background I applied blue and green Distress inks to an acrylic block, spritzed with water and stamped it on the card. Once this was dry I stamped the Agapanthus Cluster and the sentiment in black Versafine ink.  A blue rhinestone was placed in the center of one of the flowers.

Thank you for stopping by and tomorrow I will have a snowman thank you card to share with you...they aren't just for Christmas!!

Simple Birthday

Here is a "one layer" card for the One Layer Simplicity Challenge, these challenges are just too much fun!

This Birthday card literally took minutes and I love the look of it!  The Agapanthus from Stampendous was stamped with orange ink, spritzed with pink spray and after it dried it was stamped with Happy Birthday in black.  The edges were then sponged with orange and you're done!

Cherish, Live, Dream

I found a fun challenge blog "One Layer Simplicity Challenge" and all of the cards you make can ONLY be on layer, the card itself!  You would think that would be easy but it takes some thinking.

For this card I tore paper and used it as  a mask and rubbed white Brilliance onto my kraft colored card and moved it around until I go the desired look.  I then place the torn paper over the center and rubbed just the edges with coral Brilliance.  The sentiment from Stampendous was stamped with Sepia Versafine ink and portions of the letters were outlined with a white pen. For the final touch Dot Sparkler stickers from Stampendous were randomly placed around the sentiment.

I have two more one layer cards that I will share with you in a few days so be sure to check back!
