Birthday Mouse

This House Mouse stamp from Stampendous was a fun one to color and can be used for a guy or girl, I just love versital stamps!  The image was watercolored and on the dice I applied Crystal Micro Glitter to the dots on the dice then covered the dice with Glossy Accents.  In person it is shiny and sparkly.

Jumping For Joy

I love this cute little birthday mouse!!  The stamp is called Cupcake Jump from Stampendous and it's so much fun to color.  I stamped it twice, colored the frosting on one, applied Crushed Glass Glitter, cut it out and applied a layer of Glossy Accents.  It was then popped up on the cupcake.

The sentiment is a Digital Down load so it was printed out on white cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinder die.  Before I removed the paper from the die, it was sponged with blue ink.  Circle paper clips were added and it was popped up in the corner.

New Heights Tag Card

Today I am showing a card made with the new Butterfly Charms Set from Stampendous.  I love collage but don't usually do it because I'm a neat, clean inside the box kinda gal...I know, you're probably thinking boring but that is what I love. So I was a little worried when I started this card but I must say the set makes it really easy to use, everything fits together perfectly!!  Here are the easy instructions.
1. Randomly stamp images with Adarondack inks in Latte, Caramel and Oregano on a cream panel.
2.  Emboss the edges with Gold Encrusted Jewels set from Stampendous.
3.  Stamp sentiment from the Soaring Sentiments set on the right side with black Versamark ink.
4.  Punch out a 1 1/4" square, cut diagonally and use as a guide to cut edges to make a tage.  Layer onto brown paper and cut edges.
5.  Punch a hole at the end, tie with sage ribbon and mount to a caramel card randomly stamped as you did the cream panel.
6.  Stamp butterflies on white cardstock with black Versafine, heat set and watercolor with Staedtler pencils. Cut our, curve wings and glue onto panel.  Add bling to butterflies.

Merry Christmouse!

I have to say I will never get used to making Christmas cards when it is 100 degrees outside but it sure is fun! For this card I used Gifts To Tie from Stampendous, watercolored it and embossed Shabby White Emobossing Enamel at the bottom to look like snow.  The sentiment is from the Holiday Bird set stamped on decorative paper and the background is also decorative.

Now is the time to start your Christmas cards so they will be ready to mail in November.  I like to mail mine early, since I'm making them I would like my friends and family to have them around for more than just a few days.

Be sure to check out Stampendous'  Monthly challenge for August, the  theme is House Mouse and you can see all of the details HERE

Stampendous Is Hopping Today!

Hop with Stampendous and Dreamweaver today to see some amazing projects and a chance to win prizes along the way!

Time to catch a wave with this card which so easy to make and really doesn't need a tutorial.  I will say the Stampendous Surfin Kido was colored with watercolor pencils and Crystal Lacquer was used on the surfboard.  A Dreamweaver stencil was used for Summer by using stencil paste and sprinkling Orange Micro Glitter over it.
