Bloom Of Good Health

If you don't have the right color of background paper for your project, no problem just make it!  I used a stencil from Stampendous and sprays to make a background that matched my flowers.  I'm entering this in the Simon Says Stamp challenge "In My Garden," wish me luck!

1.  Place the Southwest Stencil on a white panel and spray with Picked Raspberry and Marmalade sprays.
2.  Place different sizes of Fitted Frames Dies on the sprayed panel and run through your die cut machine.
3.  Layer pieces on a white panel and glue down.
4.  Stamp sentiment in the center with black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
5.  Glue to an orange card.
6.  Stamp flowers and butterfly on watercolor paper with black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
7.  Color with Zig pens and cut out.
8.  Apply glue to the white edges of the flowers and sprinkle with glitter. Glue to card as shown.

Butterfly Dreams Box

I'm up on the Rubbernecker Blog today with this cute treat box.  I decided to make this to play along with the Rubberneck Stamps Challenge #27, Anything But A Card.  The box is a decorated kraft color box using the Butterflies Are Free Set to decorate a tag that was sponged with Twisted Citron and Wilted Violet Distress Inks. The butterfly was then stamped once on the violet and once on the citron with matching inks.  It was then over stamped with the a sentiment from the set with black ink.  The Butterfly was stamped with black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  It was then die cut using the matching Butterflies Are Free Die Set and layered onto a purple die cut piece.  The butterfly was stamped on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, I find the Zigs blend the best on the Strathmore paper. Crushed Grape Nuvo Crystal Drops were randomly added for interest.

Hello Sunshine

Hi everyone, brrrr, it's 20 degrees here this morning but my card reminds me what is right around the corner, Spring!  I paired the Coneflower Set with a sentiment from the Brushed Wishes Perfectly Clear Set from Stampendous, to make a bright and cheery card.

Here's How my card was made;
1.  Stamp Coneflower and leaves on white cardstock, color with pencils and use matching dies to cut, set aside.
2.  Rub green and blue inks on a craft mat, spritz with water and lay a watercolor paper panel on top.  Remove and set aside to dry.
3.  Stamp sentiment on white cardstock and die cut using Fitted Frames Dies.  Also diecut from blue cardstock.
4.  Randomly ink Crackle Rubber Stamp with Salty Ocean and stamp on the watercolor piece.
5.  Layer onto a white panel and glue to a blue card.
6.  Glue all pieces to the card.

Toad-ally Awesome!

Do you have your cards made for Valentine's Day?  If not, here's a little inspiration for you.  I think this Frog On Lily Pad and sentiment Toad-Ally from Rubbernecker Stamps are adorable!  The frog is colored with Prisma Pencils and blended with Gamsol.  The sentiment is stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder.
Other product used is heart die from Sizzix, heart punch from The Paper Studio and I don't know who makes the banner die. Decorative and glitter paper is by The Paper Studio.

New Curios Collection

Stampendous has a new line of stamps called CURIOS, that have a wonderful colored label on the it to help inspire you.  They also look nice in your creative space, even when you don't clean up.

My card was made with CURIOS Butterfly Sketch and colored with Prisma pencils. It was stamped on a white panel with black ink then an craft knife was used to cut out the wings but not the body.  The wings were curled around my finger before gluing the panel to a blue card.  But before it was glued to the card, leaves were sponged around the butterfly using the Fern Frond Stencil and Peeled Paint Distress Ink.   For the sentiment, I used the Funky Alphabet Perfectly Clear Set and embossed it with a beautiful shimmery embossing powder called Green Tinsel.  After Peeled Painted was splattered on the panel, it was then glued to the card.  A frame was die cut using one of the Fitted Frames Sets and glued over the sentiment.
