Wow it's been a long time since I've blogged! I have been busy, busy, busy. I am in charge of the Girl Scout cookie sale for our troop and we have 15 booth sales scheduled for March, just became the snack bar coordinator for the swim team, and had a stamp class last week. I think the worst is behind me and now I can blow the dust off of my stamps and get to work. This card was made for my class last week. The store Stamp Fever in the city of Orange in Southern California had an over stock of the leaf and flower stamps so I made this to help them sell.
The flower is stamped with caramel and the leaves with lettuce. The sentiment is stamped in black. The edges are sponged with butterscotch and caramel inks, layered onto black paper, tied with a green ribbon and glitter glue was applied to the center of the flowers. This was layered onto a golden rod panel that was stamped with the leaves in caramel and the edges are sponged with butterscotch and caramel and mounted to a black card. Peace is stamped on a square in black and the edges are sponged with the same inks as above. This is popped up with foam squares. Circle stickers are added to the corners.
