This is a real quick and easy card to make, with a little help from decorative paper! I used my new Hero Arts set and stamped the balloon in lime, coral and lavender Brilliance, then stamped Happy Birthday in black VersaFine. Then layer onto black paper and tie with a ribbon. Glue this onto a pink card that has rectangles of decorative paper layered onto black cardstock. Then I stamped the birthday circle on cardstock, then punched it out with a 1" punch and layered it onto a black circle that I cut out with a circle Sizzix die. This is then popped up using a foam square.
Recipe
Stamps- Hero Arts
Inks- Brilliance lime, lavender, coral, black VersaFine
Paper- white, black and pink card stock, decorative paper The Slab
Plus- circle sticker, ribbon, foam square, 1" circle punch, Sizzix circle die
Oh, I like it. So bright and Cheery.

ReplyDeleteHi, Jamie! Thanks so much for the well wishes on our trip. We're having so much fun, albeit a bit tired from all the walking since everything is just a couple of blocks away. =)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to find out that you'd been sick but hope that you're all better now.
Just dropping by and admiring all the cupcake creations! Hmm, you gave me an idea on how to use those striped patterned papers I never know how to use. Thanks for the inspiration. =)
