Halloween Time
Happy Fall everyone! Here is a card I made using a Stampendous stamp that I inked with Versamark and embossed with a black glitter embossing powder. I then Colored it with watercolor pencils, cut out the images layered onto card stock and glued to a black card. I then applied two different widths of double sided adhesive and sprinkled with green and purple glitter.

The Big Move
We have just moved to Oklahoma from Southern California and what a big change it is. Never would I have thought I would move away from where I was born and raised! My husbands job got transfered and we had to go where the job was, so we packed up the house, kids and my mom and here we are! I think we will really enjoy it, the people seem very nice and the pace of life is slower...now just to meet people.
My stamp room is all in boxes and the moving company smashed two of my book shelves. I'm hoping to find room for all of my stuff...maybe I should start stamping and use some of it up, that would take care of the problem lol.
I hope all of my stamping friends are doing well, I will stop by your blogs and check on you.
XOXO

Smile, Smile, Smile :)
Hello all of my blogging friends! Here is a cheerful card for you, all stamps are by Stampendous. You should go check out their website and there great blog. The flower was stamped with black VersaFine ink, heat set and colored with water color pencils. You can't tell but there is glitter on the petals and dots. Both the black and white papers were cut using a Coluzzle. Thank you was stamped on a white square and the dots were stamped in cool peri Adirondack ink. This was then layered onto a black square and a white gel pen was used to make the dots. The fold of the card is tied with a light green ribbon. Then don't forget to stamp smile, smile, smile on the decorative paper in black.
Thank you for stopping by and I'll have another card up soon :)

Blast From The Past
Here is a card I made quite a while ago and thought I would re-post it. The stamps are from Stampendous and the flower is watercolored. It is a real simple card with great decorative papers. What have I been up to? Well my MIL has now been in the hospital for 28 days and she will probably get moved to a nursing home within a week. We don't know if she will get well enough to go back home or not.
This week I had family in from out of state that met the kids for the first time and it was wonderful seeing them for the two days they were here.
Melanie had finals this week and only has one more day to go, boy am I ready for summer!
I hope all of my blogging friends are doing well, I plan on making the rounds to all of your blogs. Have a great weekend!

Comfort, Strenght, Hope...
Now here is a picture of Melanie who recently got her braces off, look at those wonderfully straight teeth!
So now for the reason I haven't been posting recently. My MIL is in the hospital for the 12th day and is expected to be there for another 2-3 weeks. She has a bunch of problems that came about quickly and we are hoping she gets better. So we have been visiting her often and haven't had time for much else. Here is a picture of my hubby Paul and my son Greg visiting Gram.
Here in southern California we have year round school and tomorrow is Greg's last day of 7th grade, wow my baby is growing up! So tomorrow is his awards ceremony and he will be getting an award for a 4.0 gpa, we are sooooo proud of him!! Then he is off for a month and into 8th grade he goes in July.

My daughter Melanie is home sick today for the third day, I'm afraid I gave her this cold but she is worse than I was! She's been sleeping all day so I'm hoping tomorrow she will feel better and will be able to go to school.
Hope all of my blogging friends are staying healthy!
