Happy New Year!

Happy New Year's Eve to all you crafty fanatics, you've made it through another year of creativity!  My last card of the year is a bright floral card using Honey Doo Crafts Cherry Blossom Stamps and matching Die Set.  The purple flowers were stamped on a long rectangle watercolor panel with VersaMark Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Color the two flowers with Zig Clean Color Clear Brush Markers.

Stamp the flower one more time and the leaves the same as above on a separate piece of watercolor paper.  Color this one with pink Zigs, the leaves with green and use the matching dies to die cut.  Pop these up on the flower panel, layer onto black then onto decorative paper and glue to a black card.

Stamp sentiment from the Mini Sentiments Stamp Set on a white strip of paper with black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Glue to card and add a pink rhinestone.

Have a fun and safe New Year's Eve and I'll see you back here tomorrow!!!!!

Let It Snow

Here's my last Christmas card for the year, one made using the Snow Flurry Stamp Set from Whimsy Stamps.  The snowflakes are stamped on different colors of paper with VersaMark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  The kraft colored paper was randomly stamped with snowflakes using White Picket Fence Distress Ink.

I even stamped the pink striped background using Get In Line Clear Stamps, it makes it easy to create a striped background in any color!

Thank you for stopping by, Merry Christmas and have a creative day!

Sparkle With Joy

Believe it or not, I still have a few Christmas cards to share this week!  I hope you all have yours made and mailed out!

Today's card uses stamps from Stampendous, I've used the 6" x 6" stamp Winter Blizzard.  This stamp is unique because the large snowflake pops out!!!  So I was able to stamp it without the large snowflake with VersaMark Ink and emboss with really pretty and glittery Vintage Blue Tinsel Embossing Powder.  I then stamped the snowflake with VersaMark Ink and embossed with Sparkle Puff Embossing Powder.

Oh if you could see it in person, it really sparkles!! Be sure to check out my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/stampthis/ and I'll post a video in my story so you can hopefully see what I see.

Joy is from the Merry Words Perfectly Clear Set and was stamped with VersaMark Ink and embossed with Vintage Blue Tinsel Embossing Powder.  The little snowflakes were punched out of glitter paper.

I got the sketch idea from Mojo Monday 504, Julee has bi-weekly sketch challenges... so much fun!

Here's how my card was made;

1.  Die cut hearts from the Wings Die Set from kraft and pink glitter paper and glue to a white panel that has been splattered with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

4.  Glue sentiment to the kraft strip of cardstock and add a pink glitter heart.

The Very Best!

Hi my crafty friends, it's time to use up that decorative paper you've been hoarding!  I know there must be other people out there like me who will go out, buy pretty pattern paper then not use it in fear of running out. Well I'm on a tangent to use my old pattern paper so I can buy more haha.  So to help me with this, I'm using the Square Combo#1 OPC Die from Rubbernecker Stamps.  Have you seen it? It's brilliant and diecuts six frames at once!  So by diecuting two coordinating papers, you can make two cards like the one above.  Or you can use the frames individually for multiple cards.  With this technique you can even turn ugly paper into a pretty card. Once you've glued the frames to a card, slap on a sentiment and you're done!  I used a sentiment from the Best Friends Etc set.  Believe me, this is addicting!

Quick and Easy Christmas Card

I shared this card back in July for Christmas in July but thought I would post it again since it is super quick and easy for those of you who haven't started on your Christmas cards yet.  It uses the cute Snowman With Arms from Rubbernecker Stamps.  He's colored with Prisma Colored Pencils and can be cut out with the matching Snowman With Arms Die.  The decorative paper is by The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby and the snow behind the snowman is Shabby White Embossing Powder from Stampendous.  The circle cut out was made with the Nested Circle Stitched Die Set.
So if you haven't already, get started on those Christmas cards!
Have a creative day.

This week I'm up on the Rubbernecker Stamps Blog with this butterfly shaker card. I used the 2 Part Butterfly #3 Die to diecut the butterflies from black paper. The shaker portion was made and layered against decorative paper.  The words are from the Butterflies Are Free clear set, it's one sentiment that I stamped and cut apart.

The Magic of the Season

Today I'm up on the Rubbernecker Blog sharing a Christmas card, because if you haven't started making them, now is the time!  This is one you can mass produce pretty quickly, there is coloring involved but not much.

1.  The Santa with Present was stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink on white cardstock, heat set and colored with Prisma pencils.
2.  The Nested Oval Stitch Die Set was used to cut the oval.  Set aside. (A matching Santa with Present Die is also available.)
3.  Decorative Christmas paper was layered onto larger white cardstock and glued to a red card.  The Santa with Present was popped up on the right side of the card with 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
4.  Magic of the Season was stamped on a strip of red cardstock with VersaMark ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder. It was then glued to the upper left side of the card.
5.  Three rhinestones were adhered to the left side of the card and you're done!
