You're Fabulous

The Stampendous Design Team will be sharing cards made using the Spring Border Die Set from Stampendous all week long.

I paired one with Blossom Trio to add a little interest on the side of the card but there are so many ways to use them. Get more ideas and see what the other Stampendous Designers have for you today by clicking HERE.

Here's how my card was made;
1.  Stamp Blossom Trio on white cardstock with black ink and color with pencils.
2.  Use a corner rounder on two of the corners and layer onto a pink panel and set aside.
3.  Die cut a strip of green paper using a stencil from the Spring Border Die Set. Glue to a purple panel, layer onto white paper and glue to a green card.
4.  Glue Blossom Trio onto card diagonally.
5.  Stamp sentiment on a green strip of paper with black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.  Pop up on card and add a Violet Dot Sparkler.

Forever

Today's challenge at Rubbernecker Stamps is "Love Is In The Air."  I decided to show that you can use a floral stamp and make it a Valentine's card, Anniversary card or just a card to show your love.  I used Bunch of Tulips, it's a three part watercolor stamp and stamped it on watercolor paper.  The Forever is from Best Friends Etc, a clear stamp set and is stamped with black ink and embossed with clear.  A few dots were added with red and green Nuvo Crystal Drops.  The decorative paper, glitter paper and heart punch is from The Paper Studio.

Now head on over to this weeks Rubbernecker Stamp Blog by clicking HERE and add your card for your chance to win one of two prizes, good luck!!

People Skills

It's time for Challenge #25 "Grunge It Up" over at Rubbernecker Stamps.
Stop by the Blog HERE and add a card, you might be one of two lucky winners!!  To make my card I used Cory with the matching Cory Die to make a shaker card, using Nested Circle Stitch Die Set to cut out the window.  A little trick to keep the sequins from sticking to the acetate window, is to rub the acetate with a dryer sheet.  This really helps remove the static that makes the sequins stick! The sentiment is People Skills, a funny saying that works well with Cory. The front of the card was made by sponging Picked Raspberry Distress ink in the center of a panel and the splatters from  3006 Splatter Stains were stamped with black and gray Memento ink.

Flowers and Sunshine

I had a fun time making the background for the new 6 x 6 Sunny Sketch Rubber Stamp from Stampendous.  It's a beautiful large collage style stamp, so all the work is done for you, you just need to stamp once and your background's done!

Here's how my card was made;
1.  Rub yellow and coral inks on a craft mat, spritz with water and place watercolor paper on top of ink and let dry.
2.  Stamp Sunny Sketch on the dried paper with black ink and emboss with clear.
3.  Layer onto black paper and glue to an orange card.
4.  Stamp sentiment on white cardstock with black ink, emboss with clear embossing powder, layer onto black paper and pop up with foam squares.
5.  Add Red Dot Sparklers.

Roses For A Friend

Any time is a good time to let a friend know how much they mean to you.  This card is made using the Rose Garden Stamp Set which includes the stencil used to make the background and the matching Rose Garden Die Set from Stampendous.

Here's how my card was made;
1.  Stamp Rose from Rose Garden Set on white cardstock with black ink, color with pencils and cut out using the matching die from the Rose Garden Die Set.
2.  Using the stencil that comes with the Rose Garden Set, sponge with Wild Honey ink on the left side of the panel.
3.  Rub Black Soot ink on your craft mat and pick up some ink using a very wet brush and flick drops on the panel.
4.  When dry, stamp sentiment with black ink, glue on the rose and mount to a green card.

Watercolor Hello

Hi and hope everyone is feeling crafty this New Year!  Here's a card made the with the Happy Birds Perfectly Clear Set from Stampendous but I only used two stamps from the set.

1.  To make the background, the flower was stamped on watercolor paper with VersaMark Ink and embossed with white.  Wild Honey, and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks were then rubbed directly on the embossed panel, spritzed with water and left to dry.
2.  Hello was then stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Picked Raspberry ink. Layer on black paper.
3.  Glue watercolor panel to a white card and glue on Hello and add a few Dot Sparklers.

Stay connected and don't miss a thing!
