Smile

Here's my second card made with one of the new 8"x 8" stamps from Stampendous. For this card I stamped the DECOR Cling Dream on watercolor paper and embossed with white.  I then rubbed Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean directly on the stamped panel. Once the panel was covered in ink I sprayed the panel liberally with water and set it aside to dry, water puddles and all.  Once dry I die cut it using the beautiful Stylized Dahlia Die and glued to to a black card.  A white gel pen was used to make the white dots. Then smile that was die cut from black paper was glued to the bottom.

You're Amazing

Stampendous has some really neat new 8" x 8" stamps that can be used in so many ways.  This week the design team will be sharing projects made with these stamps. Today I used the DECOR Cling Leaves to make my background.

4.  Use a baby wipe to wipe across the colors so they blend.  Use a clean piece of the wipe for each color.
5.  Use a circle die to cut the circle and glue the panel onto a white card.

Say It With Love

Need a little inspiration?  If so you're in luck because it's Sweet Sunday Team Inspiration Day over at Rubbernecker Stamps.
I think everyday is a good day to say "I love you" and here's a card that says just that with a touch of elegance.

To make my card Thorny Rose, a two part stamp was used.  The solid stamp was inked with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and Violet Color Burst was painted around the edges.  This was then spritzed with water and stamped on watercolor paper.  The outline of the Thorny Rose and the Three Line Frame were stamped with VersaMark Ink and embossed with Champagne PEARLustre.  The panel was glued to a plum card and sequins and the love diecut were glued on.
