Fall Note

Todays card is clean and simple, I love the crisp look.  I tore paper to mask the right side and stamped the text.  On seperate paper the text was stamped and punched out with a leaf punch then the edges were sponged.  Stamp a sentiment at the bottom and you're done!

Fall Fun

This Leaf Boy stamp is perfect for fall greetings. I'm so ready to enjoy cool weather and changing of the leaves!  I pared it with the Foliate Quad Cube and the Marble Quad Cube for great backgrounds and for just a touch of bling Dot Sparklers were added in the top corner and in between the leaves.  The boy and leaves were colored with Staedtler colored pencils and gone over with a blender pen.

Fall Memories

Happy September!  I can't believe fall starts in just a couple of weeks.  I'm looking forward to seeing the leaves change to beautiful colors of the season.  So what better way to kick off fall (almost) with a scrap page featuring  the Jumbo Leaves set from Stampendous!

When you buy a jumbo stamp set, it comes with a stencil that helps you create beautiful projects.  Here are the tips and tricks to make this page.
1.  Stamp leaves twice on white cardstock with black Versafine ink and heat set.
2.  Place the stencil over the leaf so the leaf portion is open and the background is covered.  Then stipple or sponge one leaf with Caramel and Lettuce Adirondack ink and the other with Lettuce and Raisin then cut out and set aside.

 3.  Now place the solid leaf stencil anywhere on a 8x8 white page and stipple or sponge Caramel ink around the edges, move stencil and repeat several times then repeat the process with Lettuce and Raisin inks until desired effect is achieved.

4.  Layer a picture on butterscotch and plum papers using  E-Z Sqquares Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L , add burlap, rhinestones and stamp Sentiment "Cherish Family" in black.
