Stampendous & Dreamweaver Are Hopping!

Welcome to the last day of "Dream-Pendous" week of inspiration! The Stampendous team and the Dreamweaver team have beencollaborating once again with all the fun toys in both team's arsenal. Of course, as usual, there will be great prizes available for those who comment throughout this week. In face there will be three prize packages available to win. Each will have a great selection of Dreamweaver Stencils and Stampendous images and dies...one of which being the new "Blossom Beauty" face ...image as shown on the badge above.

Here is my project for today: All week you have seen the design teams color the face of Blossom Beauty in amazing artistic style that may have made you think "I can't do that."  Well you don't have to, she is beautiful without coloring, just stamp her on tan paper.

1.  Stamp Blossom Beauty on tan paper with black ink.  Color eyes and lips with Prisma colored pencils.
2.  Stamp flowers and butterfly from the Lovely Garden set on pink paper with Versamark ink and emboss with Champagne embossing powder and color with watercolor pencils in shades of purple.
3.  Use the matching Lovely Garden dies to cut them out and set aside.
4.  Place LJ896 Large Flourish in the corner of pink paper, stipple with Versamark ink, remove stencil and emboss with Aged Wine Embossing Enamel. Tear the paper and sponge with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
5.  Randomly place the LM2006 Sm Fern Frond  on a tan card (8 1/2 x 11 folded in half), stipple with Versamark ink and emboss with Shabby Green Embossing Enamel.
6. Next stipple with Beige Brilliance several times and do not emboss.
7.  Stamp sentiment on tan paper, cut out using DD001 Nesting Frames but first rub the cutting side of the die with Versamark, cut then emboss with Pearlustre Champagne Embossing Powder.
8. Die cut leaf with DM2001 Petite Fern from green paper
9.  Assemble card as shown using Beacon Adhesives 3 in 1 Glue.

Stamping And Stenciling...

Welcome to another "Dream-Pendous" week of inspiration! The Stampendous team and the Dreamweaver team are collaborating once again with all the fun toys in both team's arsenal. Of course, as usual, there will be great prizes available for those who comment throughout this week!! There will be three prize packages available to win. Each will have a great selection of Dreamweaver Stencils and Stampendous images and dies...one of which being the new "Blossom Beauty" face ...image as shown on the badge above.

Here is my project for today:

All week you will see The Blossom Beauty face colored beautifully and in a variety of ways, my posts will show that you can just color her eyes and lips and still get beautiful results.

1.  Stamp Blossom Beauty in black on peach paper, color eyes with green pencil and a white Gelli Roll pen,  cut out.
2.  Stamp flower two times and cut out using matching Blossom Beauty dies using the large and medium dies.
3.  Color with colored pencils and add orange and teal Micro Glitters to the centers and set aside.
4.  Run the LJ901 Mosaic Swirls stencil through your embossing machine after taping it down with removeable tape, be sure to use an embossing mat.  Remove from machine and stipple with mowed lawn, shabby shutter, peacock and marigold Distress Inks while the stencil is still on.
5.  Remove stencil and apply elements from the 70's Stack Art Elements set and orange Micro Glitter around the edges using a Zig glue marker.
6.  Glue pieces to a gift bag and apply May Artys ribbon to the bottom using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Dots that has been stenciled with LG691 Thank Yous with black archival ink.  Add black pearls to the her neck using 3 in 1 Glue by Beacon Adhesives and you are done!

What Does The Fox Say?

This little PenPattern Fox isn't saying a thing today but he's just waiting for a sentiment to be added for any occasion!  After he was stamped and colored with pencils a mask was used before stamping the legs and forehead with images from Stack Art Stamps Regal Bird set.  Stampendous has designed PenPattern sets so you can stamp your doodles rather than free handing it but you aren't limited to those designs as you can see.
The background is one large stamp PenPattern Dark.  You can either stamp it and be done as I did or be adventurous and color it, the possibilities are endless!

You Are So Tweet

All week the Stampendous Design Team is sharing the NEW PenPattern designs from the April catalog so here is the PenPattern Bird.  This image already has the designs on the tail but the body of the bird was stamped using the new PenPattern Repeat (clear set).  So if you don't want to freehand doodle you can stamp your doodles after you mask off the sections your don't want to stamp.  The PenPattern Bird was colored with pencils before the PenPattern Repeat was stamped.  The cute little sentiment is from the new Regal Bird Quotes (clear set), it works perfectly with this image.

Stop by Friday to see another PenPattern card! :)
