Hello, Hello

I love this stamp set from Stampendous and I use it all of the time! To make this card I started with a brown paper bag, cut it to the size I needed. Then spritzed it with water, crumpled it up real well then opened it and lay it down without flattening it. A mushroom colored ink pad was rubbed over the top of the paper and then lightly spritz with water again but not too much. Let dry (you can speed this along with a heat gun), stamp the image with black and color in with pencils. Stamp olive paper with a background using lettuce ink. Layer all of the pieces as shown and stamp "hello" two times along the right side. Tie with ribbon and mount to a white card.

Smile, Smile, Smile :)

Hello all of my blogging friends! Here is a cheerful card for you, all stamps are by Stampendous. You should go check out their website and there great blog. The flower was stamped with black VersaFine ink, heat set and colored with water color pencils. You can't tell but there is glitter on the petals and dots. Both the black and white papers were cut using a Coluzzle. Thank you was stamped on a white square and the dots were stamped in cool peri Adirondack ink. This was then layered onto a black square and a white gel pen was used to make the dots. The fold of the card is tied with a light green ribbon. Then don't forget to stamp smile, smile, smile on the decorative paper in black.
Thank you for stopping by and I'll have another card up soon :)
